A slow or blocked drain where other fixtures still work. A running or weak-flushing toilet. A faucet or valve dripping steadily but contained. Reduced hot water. A garbage disposal that has stopped. A leak you have been able to isolate with a shutoff valve. A water heater making noise. Anything where the water is under control and the damage is not increasing hour by hour, but where waiting is genuinely inconvenient.
When You Should Not Wait
If you cannot stop the water with a shutoff, if sewage is coming up into a tub or floor drain, if a water heater is leaking from the tank body rather than a fitting, or if you smell gas, that is an emergency and it should be handled now rather than tomorrow. We would rather you call the emergency line and have us come out at nine at night than protect a normal rate while a floor gets ruined.
